We moved here from Wisconsin, where both Kate and I were born and raised – Go Packers!!! Both of our parents are still in Wisconsin, so we go there as often as we can. We believe in a commitment to Christ and in investing in our children.
What is your favorite place at Camp? My favorite place at camp when I’m alone is a point overlooking a steep ravine on the far east side of the property, off the common trail. But when camp is in session I love to sit above the lower athletic field and watch the activity, so many people having fun!!

When not at Camp I like to... I like to fish when the weather permits. I love music and singing so if I'm not singing in an area choir, I'm probably playing guitar and singing at home. I spend a lot of time with my dog, Oden and reading as well.
What is your perfect pizza? I'm a huge fan of supreme pizza! You can't go wrong with sausage either!
Family/Background: I was born and raised in Boone, so camp is not for from the place I grew up. I played football for the Toreadors, played in the Boone orchestra for 4 years and graduated in 2008. I attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a bachelors degree in history in 2012. While at Iowa, I worked as an R.A. in Currier Hall, sang in the acapella choir and enthusiastically supported the Hawkeyes.
What is your favorite place at Camp?  Although I do love the classic places on camp like Chapel Point, Inspiration Point, and Honor Point, I love to walk through the horse trails. I find them to be peaceful no matter the time of year and a great opportunity to collect my thoughts in the sounds of nature.
